SIN YOU SINNERS

A middle-aged striptease dancer exerts a powerful influence over those near her. She assigns her extraordinary abilities to her belief in the supernatural powers of a golden, coin-like amulet she wears around her neck. The owner of the cabaret in which she works plots with a prostitute to steal the amulet and thereby acquire the woman's power; simultaneously, the woman's daughter sets out to steal the talisman. The cunning woman senses the plot against her, and she hypnotizes the cabaret owner, causing him to murder the prostitute. The man commits suicide when he realizes what he has done. The woman loses the amulet, and it is found by the daughter, who inherits its secret power. Bereaved of the amulet, the woman loses her confidence and her youthful appearance; she runs out into the street and is struck and killed by a truck.
